Jesse Miller (born 1968) is a visual and sound artist.
His primary output is drawing, painting, and field recording, even sometimes combining and layering aspects of these disciplines.
Informed by his life in the Seattle experimental underground since the 1990's, and during multiple travels (mostly throughout Asia), his work invites memories of place and mental spaces, investigating and presenting possibilities of perception, with a taste for the mystical, romantic, and unknown.
His work is explorative, inspired by what one can, or has not imagined. He has collaborated, exhibited his visual / sound art, and performed in various locations in the USA and internationally; including Canada, France, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, and more.
His work can be found in the collection of the Seattle Art Museum, and others. Jesse currently lives in Seattle.
